Whole-of-government cyber security exercise

Whole-of-government exercising provides a platform for Queensland Government entities to test and enhance their response strategies, communication protocols and recovery plans in a simulated major cyber security incident. These quarterly exercises will target individual entity response plans, in addition to the annual iteration of Exercise Sky Scriber.

These exercises encourage collaborative problem-solving, knowledge sharing and prepares participants for the continuously evolving threat landscape. It highlights the importance of a unified approach in protecting the integrity of Queensland Government's digital infrastructure.

Participation in quarterly  whole-of-government exercises and annual events such as Exercise Sky Scriber, provides entities the valuable opportunity to enhance cyber resilience and crisis response capabilities in an evaluated environment. These exercises enhance collaboration and prepares Queensland Government entities to work together to effectively guard against and mitigate cyber threats.

• identify weaknesses in security practices and infrastructure that could be exploited by malicious entities, before a breach occurs
• simulate attack scenarios to assess and   improve your entity’s readiness to respond effectively to cyber incidents
